Innovation and Impact Award Recipients Announced for 2024

We are thrilled to announce the recipients of the prestigious 2024 Innovation and Impact Awards! These outstanding individuals have exemplified NBCOT’s mission by significantly advancing client care and professional practice. The high standard of submissions showcased remarkable examples of innovative and impactful occupational therapy (OT) practice, reinforcing the power of OT to positively impact lives.

Paul Grace, NBCOT President and CEO, shared his thoughts on this year's award program: “I commend this year’s award recipients for their dedication and creativity. Their work elevates the profession and makes a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.”

Winners will receive an award, be featured in NBCOT publications and social media, and receive a press release to share their achievement. Additionally, their next certification renewal fee will be waived.

Inspired by these outstanding OT practitioners? Consider applying or nominating someone deserving of these prestigious awards! The nomination process will open in early 2025.

NBCOT Innovation Award

The NBCOT Innovation Award recognizes OTRs or COTAs who demonstrate the delivery of an evidence-based, effective, and innovative program or intervention that enhances the quality of life for a person or persons.
